“Doc B” served as an Air Force Flight Surgeon for the EF-111 (Raven), F-16 (Viper), and U-2 (Dragon Lady) airframes. After his first terrain following low-level Raven flight, Doc B was ceremoniously awarded his tactical call sign “Spew” for obvious reasons.

He graduated from medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Science in Bethesda, Maryland. He trained in pediatrics at Wright-Patterson AFB/Wright State University and completed a Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. As a pediatrician, he is comfortable with HIMS AME depression, ADHD, and anxiety.
